E-Book Information |
| The Sueltenfuss Library provides access to
over 30,000 e-books in the NetLibrary collection. These e-books can be accessed
either through the OLLU's library catalog
or directly at the NetLibrary
web site. Whichever mode of access, users are required to establish a NetLibrary
account in order to check out or download these resources. Users are advised to read the contents of this page
thoroughly to gain access to this collection. Off-campus availability of e-books is limited to OLLU Students, Staff and Faculty.

| Establishing an account with NetLibrary |
- Users must create an account with NetLibrary to check-out e-books.
- Fill in the information requested on the form.
- Choose a unique username and password.
- Press the submit button after completing the registration process.
- Click Here to set up account
with NetLibrary.

| An account is not necessary to browse e-books in the library's e-book collection, however, no browsing is
available off-campus to users unless they have an account with NetLibrary. |
| There is no fee required to create an account with NetLibrary. |
| Registration only takes a few minutes. |
| Accessing E-Books: |
Two methods for accessing e-books:
- OLLU's Library Catalog
In the Search Limits section, in the search box titled, "itemtype", click the scroll bar and
choose, "e-books". Search by title, author, subject, etc. in any of the search boxes located just above the Search Limits section.
Click, "Search Catalog"
- NetLibrary, search by title, author, keyword, full-text or publisher.

| Viewing Options: |
Two options for viewing an E-Books content:
- Browse Option - which allows users the ability to browse for a period of fifteen minutes online,
or longer-- as long as users are actively turning pages.
Users do not need to set up an NetLibrary account to use this option.
Recommended for short viewing periods.

Checkout Option - which
permits viewing/reading online only. Check out period is twenty-four hours and users will be asked to supply their username and password.
If no NetLibrary account has been established, users will be automatically sent to the
set-up account page.
